Invest your mental focus on one goal, the most important goal right now. This goal should have the greatest impact on your life compared to how long it will take to achieve. By organising your goals in this way, you will yield results quicker, and with greater ease. 2. Using Calendars It may seem obvious but calendars are vital to time management. When used properly, a calendar will ensure that you manage your time effectively to stay ahead of your deadlines. For people with multiple responsibilities, an annual calendar organised by areas of responsibility may be especially valuable. For each of these areas, you can list the major responsibilities month by month and thereby see glance what tasks must be completed in a given month of the year.
3. Organising your Workspace Believe it or not, but by maintain a clean and tidy workspace you can significantly improve your efficiency. By eliminating clutter, you effectively de-clutter your mind – enabling greater levels of creativity, focus and productivity. Planning Wisely Before your day even begins, you should have an outline of how it will pan out. Having a daily plan and committing to it can help you stay focused on the tasks of that particular day. Prioritise your daily tasks by level of importance, and assign a time limit for each task. By planning your daily tasks, you will have greater control over your workload, and your time.
