Have you done your own performance review?

Most performance reviews that take place have similar elements that they focus on and one of those elements is attitude.


Attitude.


What kind of attitude do you bring to each day? If something goes wrong, do you continually focus on that for the rest of the day? How does that negative attitude affect you and those around you? I'm sure we have all worked with someone that has had a really negative attitude. However, we need to stop and make sure that it's not us.


There will always be challenges in your day but you need to be relentless about maintaining positivity. It's been said that life is 20% what happens to you and 80% how you react to it. When something does go wrong, you need to quickly turn your attention to the positive and move forward. If you had to rate your attitude on a scale of 1-10, where would it be? If it's not a 10.... why not?


A good attitude in the workplace is a non-negotiable and has more of an impact on the business, productivity and your own success that we realise. So ask yourself.... what's your review and if it's needed, what's your plan for improvement?
